Expression of Interest - Final Year Marketing Student Projects
The University of Western Sydney’s School of Marketing is seeking expressions of interest from businesses wanting to work with final year marketing students on business projects relating to marketing such as the preparation of a marketing plan, a branding exercise or the launch of a new product. Student projects will be completed at little or no financial cost to the business.
The benefits to you will include:
• having a new set of eyes looking at your problem,
• access to inexpensive consulting (you would only have to reimburse any out of pocket costs which you require the students to incur),
• an opportunity to view senior students in action who may be future potential employees, and
• to gain the satisfaction of contributing to the education of the next generation.
Whilst the students are undertaking the projects they are covered by the university's insurance cover.
If you have a particular marketing issue (or other business-related problem) we would be interested to talk to you and provide advice and assistance where it would be mutually beneficial. Based on the timing of our two major semesters students undertaking a project in the Autumn Semester would be working on the project between March to June and those doing a project during the Spring Semester would be working on it between August and November.
If you are interested in having a student team work on your project or if you are interested in giving a guest lecture to students on your area of business expertise, please contact Ned Doyle or Warren Day at the School of Marketing, University of Western Sydney on 9685 9690 (Ned) or 0407 894 684 (Warren), or email
n.doyle@uws.edu.au.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Ned Doyle
